I just returned home on Monday from the Internet Success System Conference in Atlanta hosted by Mark Hendricks for the ISS members.

And I have to say I had a great time. I always do though.

Here is a quick run down on what happened.

First… everyday included networking at lunch dinner and into the late hours of the evening. I enjoy the networking. It’s perfect for catching up with old friends and getting to know new ones.

This time proved extremely good for myself and some others. I have another conference that I may get to present at in December. I am looking forward to that.

And… myself and my good friend Craig Sunney started a software project together.

Cant wait for the software to be completed. You’ll like it… All I’m going to say for now is that it is another way to get a boatload of traffic to your site.

So let’s go over the conference and what it included.

The conference started on Thursday with one of Mark’s famous Q&A sessions. These are always good. It is where you can ask any question you may have about the internet and internet marketing.

A lot of great questions were asked.

Then we ended the sessions with a presentation from Mark on how to strategically create and design the life you desire.

Very… Very… Good…

Friday we did part 2 of the strategic planning. Then I spoke about article creation. It turned out really good. Everyone created some articles for article marketing but we also used the articles for some other neat things.

You’ll hear about that in a minute.

Cindi Dawson talked about using audio for fun and profit.

And then we created an audio track from our article. The audio could be submitted to a podcast and used other ways…  Which we will cover here shortly.

Then I did another presentation on press releases. At the end of the presentation we created a quick press release in a little less than 10 minutes. We used a new PR template pack I created. Saturday… We did part 3 of designing your life. Then after lunch we created a video from the article and audio we did earlier. What is neat is that it was all done with free tools. Very cool…

Chris Lockwood did a presentation on membership sites. Chris is like the membership site king. They have been very good to him and he also just released a huge membership site product.

After Chris we had a surprise panel discussion with Jim Straw and Michael Penland. Both these guys are very classy and successful when it comes to marketing… both online and offline.

This discussion was great…

And then we ended the day with a special ISS dinner for all the ISS gold members. We always have one of these at every conference and it is kindly given to us by Mark at no cost to the gold members.

Then finally on Sunday… We finished with part 4 of the strategic planning session. The whole process we did was very eye opening. I really appreciate Mark doing this for us.

After that we had Joey Smith do a presentation on social media and social bookmarking. Joey has done some really fantastic things with Twitter. He is one person who knows what is going on there and how to use that platform.

Next we had Cindi again and this time she spoke about using Kunaki to create physical products. Very good information. She also released her new Instant Audio Magic product. You will be hearing about this product in some up coming emails and posts. Make sure to watch for it. It is for those who use audio on their web sites.

Then my friend Jackie Tulos did a presentation on Facebook and how to use the power of fan pages for yourself or the clients you may have. Jackie is really smart and talented in the area of social media. She is so good she even runs campaigns for some candidates running for political office.

Then we finished the day with another Q&A session.

WOW… What a ton of information. It was a really great conference.

We learned a lot and made fantastic connections.

Well my fingers are tired from pounding the keyboard. Even my wife asked what the heck I was typing.

I hope someday we see you at an ISS Conference. The next one is in April so as we get closer I’ll let you know. You’ll be really glad if you come.

Internet Success System Conference often called ISS is about to start. This conference is a 5 day event put on 2 times a year by Interent Marketing Master Mark Hendricks.

Here is a brief run down of the schedule for the conference.

Thursday April 23 — We will be covering split testing and conversion strategies. There will be a networking lunch followed by more testing and Adwords.

A question and answer session with Mark Hendricks and the evening will end with dinner with friends and more networking.

Thursday is often a free day with a special training session of some kind. The actual event with the guest speakers starts on Friday.

Speaking of networking there will be coming soon a really good book on the topic of networking… It’s called “The Wingman Effect” from Aileen Bennett. Make sure to watch for it. There is some really valuable information in there.

I especially like the parts about networking through online social platforms.

Friday April 24 — A surprise presentation from ????. We can’t tell you right now. If we did we would have to kill you. Just kidding.

A presentation the first of three from VIP speaker Kevin Hogan. On “Why they buy… from you”. This should be good. I cant wait.

More networking and lunch.

A presentation from me… This should be interesting. This is actually my first presentation in this manner. I have never used or made a PowerPoint presentation and this will also be my first time presenting to a group of this type.

We will also hear from Christopher Avery and there will be a panel discussion.

And the evening will end with dinner friends and networking.

Saturday April 25 — The day will start with a presentation from David Perdew.

Then we will hear again from VIP guest speaker Kevin Hogan. After Kevin will have a networking lunch.

The afternoon will start with a presentation from Bernie Perry and then John and Jim Greer.

After John and Jim will be another panel discussion.

And then finally the evening will end with a special ISS Gold members dinner. More networking and building relationships.

Sunday April 26 — The first session of the morning will be an ISS members showcase and mastermind sessions.

Then we will have the last presentation from VIP guest speaker Kevin Hogan.

Another networking lunch.

A special presentation from Mark Hendricks. Another panel discussion.

A finial question and answer session. And then dinner and networking.

Monday April 27 — This is an optional day.

This is the first time that Mark has offered this as a planned part of the conference to the group.

The day will start with a breakfast gathering with all the attendees.

And then will be followed by the day at Universal Studios. It should be fun.

Jeff Herring- Jeff provided lessons on article writing and article marketing. He also provided a simple and easy to follow article writing template. Once the lesson was over we had a contest. The person who wrote the most articles during the time period won.

And the winner was………….. Dan “the man” Morris with 10 articles. Great job Dan you did great.

A Roundtable forum with Lynn Terry Mark Hendricks David Perdew Willie Crawford Alex Sysoef Jeff Herring.

The group asked various questions and received really great answers.

Lynn Terry- A really insightful and helpful presentation that included affiliate marketing blogging tips and basic SEO.

Willie Crawford- A jam packed show on joint ventures. If you have never had the chance to hear Willie jump at it when you do. He shares great info about joint ventures.

We did lots of breakout sessions and hands on work. Some participants went from zero to hero. What do I mean by that??? They went from no site to sales.

OK… the Niche Affiliate Marketing System (NAMS) conference has officially started. What a great day. First I have to say if today is any indication of what the next few days will be like…. Then we are in for a treat. The NAMS conference is being put on by David Perdew and if you don’t know David you need to get to know him he is a great guy. You can find David on Twitter.

I had the pleasure of meeting David through the Internet Success System (ISS) group which was started by Mark Hendricks. And David is a very smart and successful online entrepreneur.

The first day gave us the pleasure of presentations by….

Jeff Herring “The Article Marketing Guy”. Jeff spoke about … can you guess… Articles and article marketing.

Mike Stewart and Jeff Herring. Mike who is also know as “the Internet Audio Guy” gave a presentation with Jeff. Here we learned about using articles for creating audio CD’s and how to produce and distribute your audio CD’s.

David Perdew did the normal first day kick off items and set the stage for the conference.

We also had a presentation by Lynn Terry. Lynn spoke about affiliate marketing and building a business.

And we broke off into groups based on needs and what it is the attendees wanted to learn. Each group had a group leader and we helped our group members learn what it is they wanted to learn and got questions answered for them. The goal of the conference is to help each person get their sites online and make a sale before the weekend is up.

A great goal to have…

The day also contained a presentation from Bill Hibbler on mastermind groups. How to start participate and benefit from mastermind groups.

Joe here again and the finish of the ISS Conference…

Day four of Mark Hendrick’s Internet Success System or ISS conference was a great day but sad it was going to be over soon.

Presenters for the day included Criss Bertling and Robert DiMattia. It also included more mastermind sessions networking Q & A sessions and BlogTalkRadio. And yes Mr. Ted Nicholas.

Criss presented about how to maximize your marketing by using radio both offline and online.

Robert covered more information about research and how to find the product within yourself to sell.

Ted shared information with us on the last day that hit home with many people. I will not go into it because of the personal nature but it was appreciated and cherished by all. Ted is a great guy. If you get a chance attend one of his events and I hope you are lucky enough to meet him.

Well there you have it four information packed and fun filled days.

You are really missing out and I hope that one day you can join us.

Day three of Mark Hendrick’s Internet Success System or ISS conference was another fantastic day but I would not expect anything otherwise.

The day included presentations by Cindi Dawson Roger Carr and Joe Farinaccio. We had more mastermind sessions networking and BlogTalkRadio. And again the highlight of the day was the one and only Mr. Ted Nicholas.

Cindi did a really informative presentation on Teleseminars.

Roger covered the use of internet marketing skills and how they can benefit non-profit organizations. He showed how to change the world using internet marketing.

Joe did a power packed presentation on how to do market research. This was filled with a lot of very useful information for anyone new to marketing online.

Ted shared with us some powerful information on attitude balance in life and the power of words. I know I have said it many times but this was really great and I am really sorry you missed out by not being there.

The best part of this conference is that it is free except for our food lodging and travel expenses.

The day ended with a beautiful dinner under the stars on the patio with the entire gold members group. We being my table were excited to have Ted and his wife Bethany join us. Ted and Bethany are really pleasant and classy people.

Day two of Mark Hendrick’s Internet Success System or ISS conference was great.. All I can say is WOW!

We started with a great presentation from Mark on Integrity and in my opinion that was a good move to start the day that way.

Next we had the one and only Mr. Ted Nicholas master of copywriting. His presentation was fantastic. He shared his tactics for writing effective copy a skill that we all need. One really great tip he gave was when writing copy is to be in a peak emotional state.

Now you may be wondering what that means so let me give you an example. We did an exercise where we wrote 6 headlines. When I first wrote mine I had not done anything special and to me I did not think that they were very good. As the hour went on… we received powerful information and talked about items that pulled at the heart. During this time I rewrote those headlines 3 different times and by the time we were done which was after we really had our heart stings pulled on they were a lot better than when I first started. I hope this explains what I mean…

The day continued with more networking BlogTalkRadio mastermind sessions and presentations.

Presentations were by Rick Jorgenson and David Perdew.

Rick spoke about the mass traffic formula he uses which is very successful and David spoke about getting your paddle going. In other words stop aiming and pull the trigger.

The Mastermind sessions were very good. That is where your site is presented to the group you let the group know what is happening and what you are looking for in the way of help and suggestions. It is a great feedback session. There were a lot of great suggestions and all that participated received powerful information.

What was really nice about the mastermind sessions is that it is an opportunity to help and build others up and nor tear them down saying you did this or that wrong.

Again afterwards was another opportunity to go to dinner with your group and friends.

Mark Hendrick’s Internet Success System or ISS conference took place in Orlando Fl and it was a sunny and beautiful day the day was Thursday March 27 2008.

The energy in the room was strong and everyone was ready to get started.

The day was to be filled with questions and answers from the audience.

Questions ranged from getting your first site online to traffic driving techniques.

If you have never had the opportunity to attend one of Mark’s 2 or 3 day Q & A conferences you really need to attend. In the past they have always been free and it is Mark’s intention to keep them free.

At the conferences you get the opportunity to submit your top three questions to Mark and you receive from Mark detailed and in-depth responses to your questions. As I stated previously these are really great events they also give you an opportunity to meet others in the internet marketing field.

I have attended two of these events previously and you really get to network with a fantastic group of people. I have made many friends received great suggestions from those who have been there and done that and have had the opportunity to create great JV relationships.

The rest of the day included the discussion of membership sites and the tools that have been most successful. This presentation was done by Mark and Chris Lockwood.

For those new to memberships sites it appears that AMember is the most flexible and complete script out there for your membership site.

There are other options but both Mark and Chris like AMember the best.

We had Ken English and Martin Sabel give a tour and talk about BlogTalkRadio.com. This was really cool and they did a live broadcast. Check out the archived show from the ISS Conference from Martin Sable and Ken English here.

The last session was more Q & A from Mark.

After that we all went to dinner.

I arrived to the house from the Internet and Joint Venture Marketing Super Conference in Orlando FL put on by Michael Penland just a few minutes ago. You will not believe what happened.

The crowd was on the edge of their seats as they were watching and could not believe what they were seeing.

Michael along with Mark Hendricks Willie Crawford Allen Bechtold Robin and Lee Collins Bret Ridgway Chris Lockwood and the entire staff were dumbfounded.

It is a shame that Dr Mike Woo-Ming Bruce Safran Len Thrumond and Dale Calvert had already left.

I bet they wished they had stayed.

I have to tell you though the audience was great. They handled the whole situation really good and when the air cleared and everyone calmed down we got down to business.

We networked set up some alliances made new friends and received some of the best training available.

It was unbelievable. I have to tell you that I have never been before and I am so thankful that I was there. What a great way to start my future as an Internet Marketer; guidance and training by the best names in the business.

You may be wondering why this is my first post and what my past is. You see I have been on the internet for years but have never done anything with it. I have read and dabbled in this and that. Experimented and applied but never took it to fruition. Then one day I found myself experiencing information overload and realizing that I also needed to work on my mindset.

So I got busy and started working on myself.

What does that mean? I have what they call multiple hold backs. Information overload analysis paralysis and a low personal self esteem (if you asked others though they would say thats crazy but it is true). I did not like myself very much. I had issues where I just couldn't get past and over things from my past. I also could not get ahead and achieve what I wanted to and often quit and gave up on things.

But now I believe that has changed. Actually I know that has changed.

I narrowed my focus at the event formed some alliances developed some products (which are just about completed already) received great training and found an audience for my products.

I also decided to get over myself and my past.

I am excited !!!!

I do see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I would like to once again extend my personal thanks and gratitude to all the trainers and audience. I love all of you.

So as I said earlier make sure you do whatever you need to and get to the next IAJVMSC. It will be the best choice you ever made.

As I think about it I did not mention this but all the trainers were so kind sincere and loving. You actually saw just who they really are and they all have our best interest in mind. So if you are judging the "Gurus" and have not personally met them. Don't.

They do care and have great hearts.

I Would Like To Say To Them All. May God Continue To Bless You Greatly And Thank You For All You Have Done I Am Forever Grateful To You.
