I recently saw this headline and it got me thinking.

Here is the psychology behind this headline and why you opened it to read.

First it promised a benefit… get all your posts/emails read. Everyone including you want this result.

Second it implies you will learn something and trigger the ego… Here’s how to. If this is not something you know you want to use it. If you already know you want to prove how go you are.

And lastly it challenges you and your ego… Hint: it’s NOT what you think. Your probably guessing what the answer is and you expect to be right. If you don’t click on it and read you’ll never know if you were right or wrong and this is going to eat away at you. What if you were wrong and are doing things wrong.
